Christmas Stockings My favourite Christmas tradition is that of the Christmas stocking. On Christmas Eve before you go to bed you hang a Christmas stocking either by the fireplace or by the end of your bed and when you wake in the morning you find it filled with presents from Father Christmas or Santa Claus. Christmas time is almost here and in Valencia we´re still working on our suntans. For our EFL teaching staff, this weather is fantastic since most of us are from ¨cold¨ countries and are used to having snow at this time of year (except for our Australian teachers who are more likely to be seen with a surfboard in December).
