Good luck! We have now entered exam season and next week our First Certificate students will be be taking their exams. Good luck to all of you – we´re sure you´ll pass with flying colours! News from Madrid! November 2011

It’s well and truly time to get your winter warmers on here in Madrid! Apart from the falling temperature, here’s what else is going on…. Welcome Laura! Laura is the newest addition to our teaching team! Laura is from West Sussex in the UK and first started teaching English when she spent a year in Borneo. Bonfire Night and the Legendary Guy Fawkes

On the 5th of November in the UK, families wrap up in their scarves and gloves, go to the local school field or to a friend’s house to celebrate Bonfire Night. They watch the firework display that is put on and gasp at the bonfire’s flames. Children will write their name with sparklers (small hand held sticks that sparkle when burnt) and everyone will go home with a massive smile on their face.
